In brief...

2006 was an extremely busy year for us, and 2007 has been even more so. We didn't have much time to make many updates to the site, but you may notice some more pictures in the galleries now. If you have any comments, questions, or criticisms about the website, or if there is something you would like to see added, please feel free to email us and share your thoughts.

Yet again this year, we've invested in more machinery, which when used by our skilled craftsmen helps increase production and thus productivity, which in turn helps keep prices low. Timber prices have been skyrocketing for the last 18 months, but our prices have largely stayed the same, thanks to these additional machines. Even though we take advantage of these investments, rest assured we still tailor our products to your designs and needs.

Hardwood has never fallen out of popularity, but with more recent awareness of the environment, as well as more and more people growing to appreciate a quality product that will last many tens of years, the number of people choosing timber in place of UPVC or Aluminium is constantly rising.

Our hardwood stairs are selling stronger than ever - and when you see an Oak or Ash flight of stairs next to a painted and carpeted softwood flight, it's easy to see why! Send over your stair plans to us for a price quote - the extra beauty and value added to your home with a quality flight of stairs far outweighs the extra cost involved.

Since becoming a member of the prestigious British Woodworking Federation, we have been working towards getting recognition for our high quality double glazed windows, and have been considering triple-glazed window options too, for unprecedented thermal qualities - keep an eye on the website or contact us. with any queries you might have.

We are also well on the way towards being recognised as an Investor in People and look to reap and share the benefits of that programme.
